    What cat litter should I use?

    When searching for the right litter formula for your Litterbug, we recommend something that says "hard clumping" on the bag.

    Why does my Litterbug make a mess inside after spinning?

    Due to the type of litter, some cat litters are slow to clump, which can cause a mess if the litter box starts to spin. We recommend using a hard clumping litter, and setting the cleanup time to 5-15 minutes after the cat comes out (you can set this in the mobile app).

    What if my cat refuses to use the Litterbug?

    We recommend taking a scoop of litter from your old litter box, and scattering it over top of the new litter in your newly set-up Litterbug. The familliar scent will help acclimate your cat to their new potty environment. You can also try leading your cat inside with their favorite treat, or placing one of their favorite toys inside.

    How long will it take for my cat to acclimate to the Litterbug?

    In most cases, cats will typically adapt to the new litter box within a month.

    How do I replace the garbage bag?

    Press the "clean" button for 2 sec to allow the device to rotate the chamber to the upper left corner for easier bag replacement. For more information, please consult the user guide included with your Litterbug.

    Why is my Litterbug spinning on its own and won't stop?

    When powered on initially, the device undergoes a 1-3 minute self-test. Throughout this process, all buttons remain non-operational. This is not a malfunction, and the device becomes fully functional after the self-test is complete.

    Why does my Litterbug always stop in the wrong position?

    The device halts rotation upon detecting weight. Gravity sensors under each corner of the Litterbug are sensitive. If a blanket or cat mat is beneath, it may impact sensor accuracy (e.g. cat weight). Please position the device on a firm surface.
